Your role

As a QA member, granting a quality check in the software release’s process is a must.

You would coordinate with other departments in your daily activity and provide decisions according to the results of the software tests.

Track and report software defects and collaborate to their resolution. Test planning and test execution. Help identifying test strategies.

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Define test cases from customer’s requirements. Ensure traceability with specifications
  • Prepare test environment and test data, and execute the test cases
  • Document software defects
  • Troubleshoot issues and report bugs and errors to R&D team
  • Conduct post-implementation and pre/post-release testing
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Execute manual test cases and analyze results
  • Create and organize test cases as input of automated tests
  • Execute automated tests and liaise with the QA Engineers for troubleshooting
  • Organize test cases specific to customers’ environments
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
  • Liaise with other departments to identify system requirements
  • Monitor debugging process results
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Provide on-the-job training to other department staff members
  • Mentor other QA staff members of the software Quality Assurance organization.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Good web skills (html, css, xml, Json)
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Test case management
  • Ability to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Good attitude to defect analysis
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular).
  • Good English communication skills
