Your role

You will report to the Eidosmedia QA Manager and you would coordinate with other departments in your daily activity and provide decisions according to the results of the software tests. Track and report software defects and collaborate on their resolution. You will also be responsible for:

  • Implementing testing strategy for the overall functional range, in compliance with the global test strategy
  • Participating in specification reviews to provide input on testability requirements
  • Defining test cases based on customer requirements (functional, non-functional and regression). Ensuring test traceability with requirements specifications
  • Designing and developing automated test case scripts
  • Preparing test data and executing test cases
  • Provide go/no-go decisions following automation execution testing for software updates
  • Responsible for reporting and communicating test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions.

You should apply if

  • You have a sound technical understanding of test automation and Test Management Tools (in particular SmartBear Test Complete, Silk and Selenium), issue tracking tools (in particular Jira) and have experience of implementing such solutions for business-critical applications
  • You are competent in Java, JavaScript and experience in the use of design patterns
  • You have experience of software development with quality assurance exposure
  • You have advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and you are organized and structured in your approach to work, with excellent attention to detail
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to operate at all levels
  • You have a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Not essential, but very appreciated, if you have ISEB/ISTQB qualification.

And…you’re willing to work in a stimulating and high-energy environment, you can’t wait to learn about new technologies and platforms. You are proactive and self-motivated – you can work independently but you perform well in a team as well. And, of course, you are keen to learn, grow and master new skills and resources.
